FAQ's

How big are the dumpsters?

Our smaller dumpsters are 14ft long, about the same length as a Small SUV. Our 20 and 30 yard dumpsters are 17ft long about the same length as a full-size pickup truck. Height is measured from the inside of our dumpsters, ranging from 2ft to 8ft tall.

What is a cubic yard?

A cubic yard is a cube of volume that is 3ft long 3ft wide and 3ft tall. So if the dumpster is 20 cubic yards it will fit 20 of these cubes inside the dumpster. Cubic yards and weight is how the waste industry measures trash and the cost to process the trash for landfill or recycling.

Are the dumpsters' driveway safe?

Yes, they are driveway-safe. The dumpsters have large rollers in the back to easily roll over the driveway. We also offer complete protection upon request by adding wood under the rollers, completely isolating the driveway.

What is the right size for my project?

This is our most common question; in most cases, a 20 cubic yard dumpster fulfills most project needs. Great for Construction projects or clean-up projects. It's still best to call us to advise on the right size.

Can I fill past the sides?

PLEASE DO NOT!!!! We tarp our loads, but your trash will likely travel at 60mph down the freeway. This means if the load shifts, it will spill over the sides of the dumpster.

What if I need my dumpster longer than expected?

Please contact us ASAP or at least two days before the scheduled pickup.

Can anything go in the dumpster?

Pretty much everything can go in the dumpster, but not everything. Common items not allowed in the dumpster are Pressure-treated wood, paint, chemicals, or hazardous waste. Please call and ask if something can go in there or refer to the service waiver for guidance.
